Savoy Ent. Tuesday Comedy
July 10, 2008
If you know me. You know I love my culture and every thing about it. I soul food, Jazz lounges, spoken word and hip hop. Ive been going to this spot in Inglewood on La brea near Manchester called ‘Savoy’ They have a comedy show every tuesday and every first Wednesday a spoken word. Last night’s Comedy show was funny as hell! by far the best ive been to. Hosted by Rodney Perry and all star comedian Bill Bellamy blessed the mic. Man i was in tears the whole nite.. Free to get in with a two drink minimum.. Eat your heart out Laugh factory. I love my culture man and my communities.
A little bit of history lesson… Savoy was the name of a classy urban club in harlem during the harlem renaissance where the likes of Duke Ellington and Malcom X use to call home. Thats the type of entertainment a proud Inglewood owner is trying to bring to Inglewood and man he did!!
Shout outs to Savoy Entertainment. look them up and check them out

My vacation in Rome!
June 30, 2008
Ok so ive decided to try and post more frequent!…
A couple weeks ago the most monumental thing happened to me. I went to Rome for vacation!.. Yes Rome. Your first question is how was it!!!!!!? my reply……..beyond amazing!!!!! I saw everything from Sistine chapel inside the Vatican, to the Spanish steps, pantheon, Villa Borghese, to the Beloved Colosseum. I threw back drinks outside the Colosseum at night with a group of international students and travelers and went on a Italian pub crawl. I saw a lot of Michaelangelo’s and Caravaggio’s works of Art. I stood over Raphael’s toomb and saw where they cremated Julius Caesar. You name it i Saw it! I took a lot of pictures all available on my mypace album. It was great Truly a dream and a blessing come true. It really opened my eyes and my perspective on life. It was like I closed a chapter on a part of my life and opened up a new one.
The fulfillment of an artist is to not only attain the freedom of expressing your own art but to also be able to view, travel and appreciate the great works of others. Timeless as they are. To think that you were able to stand by actual sculptures, paintings etc made by great artists centuries before your time is nothing short of amazing..

Journey from LA to AL
May 22, 2007

So on may 28th . I will embark on one my biggest journey’s since i moved to LA over a year and a half ago. I’m moving to Alabama for a year. Ive been granted the opportunity to work on an startup animated TV show where i will be doing nothing but Character Animate
Its a great feeling esp since I’ve spent most of the past 3 years fighting and hustling to get the opportunity to be on a long term full character animation project. I look forward to seeing my skills as an animator rapidly improve!.
Now on to the cross country road trip. Yest I will be driving from LA to Al all 2000+ miles over 30 hours of cross country trip across the south region of the U.S. Should be crazy fun and a great experience. I’ve always wanted to do a cross country drive here is my chance. I plan doing doing the drive in about 4 days, averaging about 8 hours of driving each day. not too bad So this is the start of the blog right here. I’m in the middle of packing and figuring out what I’m carrying and what i wont be carrying.
The journey of any animator or artist is very hard. from being a starving artist just simply trying to do what they love and make a living at the same time moving to Alabama will be a humbling experience for me a lot less smog hahaha. more greenery to see and a whole another culture to indulge into. With all that I’m just happy i get the chance to be a character animate
Tell me what you think people!

April 13, 2007
Wow so its been three months since my last post. I need to do these more often no body reads them anyway hahaha so whats happening? hmm lets see.
Im chasing after everything I promised in the prev. post as far as moving up in this industry. Started freelancing around at other studios still working on my reel, short film and other stuff i have on back burners lol. I have too many damn back burners thats my problem. I wish my film was going a lot faster. A lot of stuff to factor in its crazy! people to help out all that good stuff. Prepping to apply to large character animation studios. It can be stressful but we will see
Its hard when you see the greats ad wonder if you will ever make it to that level! But dammit! I will!! grrrr lol. I will make it into a big studio by the end of this year. I’m promising myself that!
haha Ok will keep this blog posted!
