Journey from LA to AL

alabama

So on may 28th . I will embark on one my biggest journey’s since i moved to LA over a year and a half ago. I’m moving to Alabama for a year. Ive been granted the opportunity to work on an startup animated TV show where i will be doing nothing but Character Animate :) Its a great feeling esp since I’ve spent most of the past 3 years fighting and hustling to get the opportunity to be on a long term full character animation project. I look forward to seeing my skills as an animator rapidly improve!.

Now on to the cross country road trip. Yest I will be driving from LA to Al all 2000+ miles over 30 hours of cross country trip across the south region of the U.S. Should be crazy fun and a great experience. I’ve always wanted to do a cross country drive here is my chance. I plan doing doing the drive in about 4 days, averaging about 8 hours of driving each day. not too bad So this is the start of the blog right here. I’m in the middle of packing and figuring out what I’m carrying and what i wont be carrying.

The journey of any animator or artist is very hard. from being a starving artist just simply trying to do what they love and make a living at the same time moving to Alabama will be a humbling experience for me a lot less smog hahaha. more greenery to see and a whole another culture to indulge into. With all that I’m just happy i get the chance to be a character animate :) Tell me what you think people!
